Studies in Language Sciences (SLS) is the official journal of the Japanese Society for Language Sciences. SLS1 was published in August 2000 as a technical report by the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (now the Faculty of Information Science and Technology) at Chukyo University. SLS2 through SLS10 were published as a collection of papers by Kuroshio Publishers. SLS11 through SLS18 were published as Studies in Language Sciences: Journal of the Japanese Society for Language Sciences by Kaitakusya. SLS19 is and subsequent volumes will be published on J-STAGE as an electronic journal called Studies in Language Sciences.
