From Nagasaki Station
- By streetcar
- Get onto Streetcar # 1, heading for "Shokakujishita", and get off at the "Tsukimachi" station. Ask the conductor for a transfer ticket, then get onto Streetcar # 5, heading to "Ishibashi". Get off at “Shimin-byoin-mae” station. Then walk toward the Dutch slope (there will be signs for the Dutch Slope on the main road). Go up the slope for about a minute, and you will see the campus on your left.
- By taxi
- Tell the driver to go to Kwassui Women’s University, Higashiyamate campus. If he looks puzzled, tell him the campus is located on the Dutch slope (Oranda-zaka in Japanese). It takes about 7 minutes and the cost in within 1,000 yen (within 10 US dollars). Taking a taxi is much easier than taking a streetcar although the cost is more expensive.
From Nagasaki Airport
- Take the Nagasaki Airport Limousine Bus that goes to “Morimachi.” Get off at the first stop, “Nagasaki-shinchi.” Walk toward the Dutch slope. The campus is located within a ten-minute walk from the bus stop.
From Fukuoka Airport
There is a bus from Fukuoka Airport to Nagasaki Station although the number of buses is limited.
- From the airport you can take the subway to Hakata Station.
- From Hakata Station, you can take the Kyushu Liner bus to Nagasaki-ekimae.
- You can also take the JR train Kamome Express from Hakata Station to Nagasaki Station.
